Bulldogs drop season-opener

The Gainesville Bulldogs lost their season opener Friday night in a high school basketball matchup with Chadwick.
The visiting Chadwick Cardinals beat the Bulldogs 49-33.
For the Bulldogs, their next outing will be Nov. 28- Dec. 3 when they compete in the 62nd annual Forsyth Tournament.
The Lady Bulldogs’ matchup with Chadwick has been rescheduled for Dec. 6.
Meanwhile the Lady Bulldogs will compete Nov. 28-Dec. 3 in the 9th annual Fordland Invitational. Gainesville’s girls will have their home-opener on Dec. 5 when they host the Bradleyville Lady Eagles. That game is scheduled for 6:30 p.m.
