Gainesville FBLA deliver gifts for home-delivered meal recipients

Gainesville FBLA members, from left, Thomas Pointer, Nick Woodward and Baylee Lynn recently delivered gift boxes to Ozark County Senior Center administrator Jerri Sue Crawford, right, for delivery to home-delivered meal recipients served by the center. The students were accompanied by adviser Patsy Hambelton. These and other FBLA members donated and bought food items to prepare a total of 31 boxes for six couples and 25 individuals. FBLA members donating food items were Max Seals, Madison Trivitt, Latifa Ben Awadh, Blakely Morrison, Shelby Kinsey, Peyton Donley, Thomas Pointer, Scout Jeckstadt and Lindsie Garrison. Chapter officers joined these members in assembling the boxes during GHS club schedule time Dec. 14. Additional items were purchased by the chapter to complete the boxes. Food items included soups, canned tuna and chicken, peanut butter, crackers, apples, oranges, bananas, snack cracker packs and candy canes.  Crawford expressed appreciation for the FBLA chapter’s 13 years of contributing to this project.
