The Dora Lady Falcons volleyball team ended their season Oct. 17 in the first round of the class 1 district 8 tournament when they were defeated by Greenwood 1-3. The match scores were (25-21, 21-25, 15-25, 13-25). The Lady Falcons season ended with a record of 6-17-1.

After running away with the White River Conference championships, Dora cross country runners went on to compete in the Oct. 17 Fordland Iron Mountain Run, where they brought home a first-place team medal and several medals for individual runners.

The Gainesville and Dora cross country teams competed in the Conway Invitational Oct. 5 with high school participants running 3.1 miles and junior high runners competing in the 1.5 mile race. There were 12 schools total that participated.
