GHCC News: April 4, 2018

Hello from our home to yours.
We started last week with  David Ball, who comes once a month to play the piano for us. He does such a wonderful job, and we just love when he’s here. Later in the afternoon we gathered in the dining room for our birthday party. There we celebrated three residents’ and two employees’ birthdays. We enjoyed chocolate cake and cookie-and-cream ice cream.
Tuesday, we colored Easter eggs, and in the afternoon Debbie Cobb joined us for Bible study. After lunch we went to the dining room where we had an appreciation party for our social worker.
Thursday morning we were greeted by the Gainesville Elementary School kindergarten class. It was a rainy day, so we celebrated Easter inside. Altogether, there were 50 kids. We made two groups. One group went down 200 hall while the other group went to the dining room. The kids enjoyed collecting as many Easter eggs as they could.
On Friday we played dominoes and watched movies.
