Charley Hogue wins White River Marathon fourth year in a row

Charley Hogue, formerly of Wasola, was the overall winner of the White River Marathon for Kenya in Cotter Saturday. The win marks the fourth consecutive time that Hogue has been the first to cross the finish line of the 26.2-mile course. Hogue, 36, also set a personal record with his time of 2 hours, 49 minutes and 13 seconds - 23 seconds faster than he ran it last year. Hogue, a Missouri State Highway Patrol officer, and his wife, Tazna, live in Willow Springs.
